Will I get a bunch of spam if I use your webmail?

Spam is bulk, unsolicited email. Most spam comes from users signing up for things on web sites that sell your information or in some way posting your email address online. We do not do that here and your information is not shared with outside organizations. In addition, another problem is sending an email to the "Take me off your list" link in spam email. This is usually OK with email from responsible companies but to the spammer it verifies that your email address is correct. It also makes it more valuable to be sold again. Our advice is to not use those links unless you are familiar with the company sending the email.

More information on avoiding, tracing, and reporting spam can be found here.

The CentralPets WebMail system uses a sophisticated system known as TMDA (Tagged Message Delivery Agent) to validate unknown senders. Users may turn this feature on at any time (it is off by default). TMDA allows users to be spam free by requiring unknown senders to validate themselves before their message is delivered to the recipient. If you would like to see a demonstration of how this works just send an email to demo@centralpets.com (validated messages are automatically discarded).

In addition to the server side protection measures, each user is able to filter incoming email by creating and using filters in the CentralPets WebMail.

To login or create a new email account go to the CentralPets WebMail page.
