Advertising Policies

We accept most types of banners including .gif, gif 89A, JPEG, and rich media. Audio banners are currently not acceptable. In the case of animated banners all animation must cease within 7 seconds. It is acceptable for the banner to restart animation when the mouse is placed over the banner or clicks on it. File size is limited to 12K per banner. Alt text and tag text may be no more than 30 characters. All supplied URLs must be active at the time the banner is submitted. We will not display advertising with dead URLs.

Banners for the upper and lower section of each page are 468 x 60. On some pages there is also space for a smaller banner along the left side. This position has a maximum allowable width of 125 pixels. Acceptable sizes for this location are: 125 x 125, 120 x 120, 120 x 90, and 120 x 60.

The Central Pets Educational Foundation reserves the right to refuse any advertisement that we feel is incompatible with our mission or for any other reason that we feel is appropriate. These include, but are not limited to, advertising that is for sexual or dating services, gambling, illegal activities, or any other advertising where the site being advertised is not appropriate for viewing by all of our users.

Subject to ad approval by The Central Pets Educational Foundation, banners will generally be online within 2 - 3 days of receipt of insertion order and payment in full. The Central Pets Educational Foundation does not refund payment for advertising services due to early cancellation.

While advertisements may contain links to other web sites, The Central Pets Educational Foundation does not specifically endorse the content of any third party sites. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any claims made by any advertisers on the CentralPets.com website, false or otherwise.

The Central Pets Educational Foundation shall not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred by any consumer, advertiser, or other user of this site, for any reason, other than the refund for services rendered by The Central Pets Educational Foundation.

The Central Pets Educational Foundation shall not be held responsible for any loss of service due to circumstances beyond its control.

Advertisers are responsible for checking their advertisements and web sites for accuracy after publication. Inaccuracies and misprints must be reported immediately to The Central Pets Educational Foundation.
